Mathieu is a multi-practice bard - taking his ancestral namesake from the progenitors of the Seymour heritage: Ancient Roman senator + patrician Equitius and wife Giuila, who sent their son Maurus to Gaul, becoming the first oblate of the first monk St. Benedict Anicii, who was twin brother to the first nun, St. Scholastica Anicii.
Mathieu de St. Maur is an alchemist of every generation of Seymour twin to walk before him.
